Adheres to Integer Core Beliefs and all safety and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
Coordinates, leads process improvements and the team to success.
Implements and leads the Greatbatch Production System at the Tijuana Manufacturing Site (GPS).
Provides general direction and coaching to six sigma green and black belts and Lean expert.
Facilities, trains, and coaches team members in the use of Six Sigma, Lean tools and problem solving methodologies.
Responsible for the organization of projects and the documentation.
Works with operating leaders and engineers to assess Six Sigma / Lean opportunities.
Partners with Finance to define project savings into long-range financial plans and operating budgets and incorporate it to the continuous improvement plan of the facility.
Responsible for assisting Champion in proper Six Sigma / Lean project selection.
Keeps the Champions, Controllers and Upper Management informed of the status of Six Sigma / Lean related projects.
Maintains database for all Six Sigma / Lean projects.
Develops methods to improve productivity and up-grade product quality at the lowest controllable costs.
Identifies methods to enhance Equipment / Process performance.
Responsible for the organization of the maintenance programs (TPM).
Performs other functions as required.
Six Sigma Black Belt certified.
5-7 years of experience leading Six Sigma and Lean projects.
Proven knowledge in the execution of process development, technology transfer, and manufacturing support.
Bilingual – Spanish/English.
Excellent Computer skills.
Solid technical experience and leadership
Problem Solving Methodologies (i.e. Kepner Trego, 8D, 5 Why’s)
Strong experience in Process Improvement.
Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization.
Demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results.
