Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspection and testing of electronic sub-assemblies according to test procedures and company standards.

  •  Record Keeping: Record pass and fail results of tested products accurately onto the company database.

  •  Automatic Test Equipment Operation: Operate Automatic Test Equipment, including manual intervention as required by the test specification.

  • Testing and Feedback: Conduct testing using Flying probe and provide valuable feedback on assembly and testability to enhance the design process.

  •  Fault Finding and Repair: Perform basic fault finding on failed sub-assemblies, repair or replace faulty components as necessary, or record failure reasons for further investigation.

  •  Equipment Proficiency: Demonstrate proficient use of soldering and de-soldering equipment, electronic meters, and other testing equipment.

  •  Collaboration: Liaise with production personnel, team leaders, and Engineers to carry out testing and resolve issues, explaining and demonstrating testing procedures to other team members.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Minimum O.N.C. level education in Electronic/ Electrical Engineering discipline.

Experience:

Previous Experience: Previous experience using electronic test equipment in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
