Are you an experienced Machinist looking for an exciting opportunity? Adecco's client in a fast-growing facility, located in scenic Sheridan, Wyoming, is searching for Machinists to become valued members of their close-knit team. This is a temp to perm opportunity.

As a Machinist, you'll play a vital role in producing precision parts and components to exact specifications. Operating various machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders, you'll work with metals and other materials to fabricate unique pieces tailored to clients' needs. Attention to detail, proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards are essential for success in this role.

Essential Functions and Requirements:

  • Safety Priority: Work safely and adhere to all company policies.

  • Shop Organization: Areas are kept clean and arranged in an orderly manner.

  • Equipment Expertise: Be able to install and repair various equipment and components.

  • Organizational Skills: Maintain shop organization.

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality inspections on completed parts.

  • Tool Proficiency: Be comfortable with power tools (pneumatic, electric).

  • Equipment Proficiency: Be familiar with Forklifts and Crane operations.

  • Self-Starter: Be able to work independently with limited guidance when necessary.

  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively within a team and follow direction. ? Adaptability: Perform other related duties as required.

Skills & Background:

  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in machining, manufacturing, or related fields, 5 years minimum.

  • Machining Expertise: Programing using FeatureCAM, familiar with, and knowledge of, CNC Machines set-ups, tools needed to perform all tasks. (Mills & Lathes). The ability to work on set-ups, programing, inspections, comfortable with the ability to finish various machined components.

  • Blueprint Literacy: Experience with engineering blueprints and schematics.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to handle a physical workload.

  • Lifelong Learning: Proactively seeks continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Effective Communicator: Attentive, considerate, and inquisitive. Ask questions when needed.

  • Team Player: Work well within a fast-paced, energetic environment.

  • Helpful Nature: Possess a willingness to assist others.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $32.00 per hour
