Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Staff - Public in Santa Barbara, California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing various types of tax returns, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements. This role demands a high level of organization and attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Individual, Corporate, S Corporation, and Partnership tax returns.

• Accurately prepare and maintain monthly financial statements.

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Prepare, enter, and post year-end closing journal entries.

• Process payroll and payroll reports in a timely and accurate manner.

• Responsible for sales tax duties as required.

• Utilize skills in Individual Tax Return, Corporate Tax Return, Estate Tax Return, and Trust Tax Returns. Requirements • Must possess knowledge and experience in Individual Tax Return preparation

• Proficiency in Corporate Tax Return preparation is required

• Familiarity with Estate Tax Return preparation is essential

• Experience in preparing Trust Tax Returns is mandatory

• Must have a strong understanding of tax regulations and laws

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are needed

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines is required

• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Must adhere to confidentiality and privacy policies

• Active participation in continuous learning and development in the field of taxation is expected

• Must be committed to providing exceptional service to clients.
