Essential Functions: - Operate the plating machine and maintain all baths and cleaners associated with the plating machine. - Assist with the waste treatment system. - Maintain 5S program for the plating area. - Rack and prepare parts for plating. - Strip and rework both brass and steel. - Perform the clear coat process as well as all buffing, sanding, scouring, relieving, vibratory and rolling processes. - Review titration tests for electroless nickel process and make adjustments accordingly. - Monitor the quality of plating and take action when issues arise by notifying supervisor or area engineer. - Keep all paperwork organized with the product being processed. - Participate in team meetings to improve team's performance, solve problems, and improve safety. - Continually upgrade skills to stay current with improved manufacturing processes or technologies. - Train team members on job tasks in both prefinish and plating. - Perform additional duties as required. - Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures. High School Diploma or GED- REQUIRED Will work over time as needed
