Who will you be working with?

The Financial Analyst role will be an integral part of the Wabtec Graham White Finance team. Graham White has been a key supplier of locomotive products, including compressed air dryers and pneumatic valves, for over 100 years.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Finance team, you will be the key contact person managing Accounts Payable related issues through the entire workflow process, as well as cross training on Accounts Receivable tasks. This role will also support intercompany reconciliation and analysis with all applicable Wabtec sister companies as well as help improve the internal control environment through enhanced segregation of duties. This position will report to the Accounting Manager.

What do we want to know about you?

Education

  • Associates in Business or Accounting preferred

Experience & Skills

  • 3-5 years in Accounts Payable function

  • Experience with intercompany accounting preferred

  • Experience using an ERP or other business system, specifically Coupa, HICX, and/or Oracle

  • Internal Controls to support Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word, and Outlook, including the ability to execute intermediate to advanced functions in Excel such as pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Monitoring of the AP mailbox and scanning of invoices

  • Correspondence with vendors and various internal users

  • Weekly processing of manual checks

  • Maintenance of various records and reports

  • Research on AP related issues (POs waiting receipt, past due invoices, etc.)

  • User support for various AP processing systems

  • Preparation of the monthly AP accrual journal entry

  • Intercompany account reconciliations and correspondence

  • Cross training on Accounts Receivable tasks

  • Various ad-hoc tasks or projects as needed

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
