Kids Choice Daycare seeks Preschool Daycare Worker in Rochester, MN. Responsible for ensuring the well-being of the children under his/her care. Specific duties include: (1) monitoring and supervising children during playtime, mealtimes, nap-time, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being; (2) helping to maintain a structured and organized environment by setting up and arranging learning materials, toys, and equipment (3) assisting with maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the daycare; (4) providing individualized attention to children, addressing their needs, assisting with personal care tasks such as feeding, and preparing for nap time, and promoting positive behavior management techniques; (5) assisting children in their learning and development by engaging them in educational activities, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other age-appropriate exercises; (6) maintaining open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns that may arise; (7) collaborating with the other staff members to exchange relevant information; (8) following safety guidelines and emergency procedures to ensure the well-being of the children; (9) being vigilant in monitoring the environment and promptly address any safety concerns; (10) assisting in maintaining accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and developmental observations, as required by the preschool or regulatory authorities; (11) engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to early childhood education and care.
