Machine Operator

PeopleReady of Richmond, IN is now hiring Machine Operators! This position entails executing secondary and value-added tasks on aluminum castings within a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include trimming, inspecting, deburring, packaging, and operating machinery.

 Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $ 16 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Machine Operator:

• Operate CNC machines, drill presses, multi-station machines

• Remove excess flash by filing, grinding, sanding material

• Perform quality checks and document data

• Package/label finished products to prepare for shipment

• Assist in machine set-ups by following operator and set-up instructions

• Maintain a clean and safe environment

• Perform preventive maintenance on machines by checking fluids, lubricating machine, changing filters, etc

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day) , 2nd Shift (Evening) , 3rd Shift (Night)

Job requirements:

• Must be able to work in high levels of heat and noise (earplugs will be required)

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.

• Must be able to stand for at least 8hours

• Must have visual clarity

• Drug screening required
