Responsibilities: Take charge of the design, development, and testing of hybrid disposable medical devices, ensuring impeccable performance and compliance with strict regulatory standards. Collaborate with teams from different departments to identify project requirements and effectively execute new product concepts. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and reliability of disposable medical devices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product performance and manufacturing processes. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster their professional growth and development. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Baxter remains at the forefront of innovation. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, with a focus on biomedical engineering preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles within the medical device industry. Proven track record of successfully developing and launching disposable medical devices. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards, such as ISO 13485 and FDA regulations. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and other engineering tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address technical challenges and propose effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams from different departments.
