Baxter Healthcare Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Engineer to join our exceptional team in Plymouth. Responsibilities: Take charge of the design, development, and testing of hybrid disposable medical devices, ensuring impeccable performance and compliance with strict regulatory standards. Collaborate with teams from different departments to identify project requirements and effectively execute new product concepts. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and reliability of disposable medical devices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product performance and manufacturing processes. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster their professional growth and development. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Baxter remains at the forefront of innovation. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, with a focus on biomedical engineering preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles within the medical device industry. Proven track record of successfully developing and launching disposable medical devices. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards, such as ISO 13485 and FDA regulations. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and other engineering tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address technical challenges and propose effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams from different departments. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000 to $121,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range fo the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
