Honeywell Lead Semiconductor Technician in Plymouth, Minnesota

The primary area of responsibility will be in the pressure sensor assembly manufacturing area, overseeing the assembly of highly accurate and reliable pressure sensors used in multiple commercial applications. You will work with operations to enhance current manufacturing techniques and provide continuous improvement actions to drive production enhancements. Assist sustaining engineering personnel in identifying and troubleshooting sensor performance issues, test anomalies and production concerns. Assist the design team in the design, build and evaluation of new pressure products and modifications to existing products.

Key Responsibilities

Generate and update standard operating procedures for sensor manufacturing production environment.

Participate in sensor design, development, and testing.

Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Generate capacity improvements in an area experiencing rapid growth.

Support operations in debugging and troubleshooting of manufacturing and test issues.

Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness.

Comply with all safety rules.

Use measuring and diagnostic tools.

YOU MUST HAVE

2-year degree in applicable field or equivalent technical experience

Mechanical and/or Electrical experience

USG Secret security clearance in good standing, or US Citizenship and no known barriers to achieve a USG Secret security clearance [non-citizens are ineligible for clearance].

WE VALUE

3+ years’ experience with mechanical or electrical components (especially pressure sensors).

Ability to read schematics and drawings.

Previous experience using electronic diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)

Computer literacy (Excel, Access, SAP, Outlook)

Programming experience (Visual Basic, database usage)

Ability to analyze information and conceptualize potential solutions to manufacturing issues.

Ability to collaborate with others, both operations and engineering personnel

Work independently, sometimes with minimal supervision.

Ability to troubleshoot complex problems.

Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity.

Creative thinking and idea generation.

Ability to communicate information clearly, both verbally and written.
