The Position

Responsible for the development and execution of data strategies for patient support program use cases and patient case management analytics, focusing on optimizing patient care and support.

Relationships

Reports to the Director of PSP Analytics and Ops Excellence. Key internal relationships include commercial insights and analytics, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, marketing, Market Access, Pricing Contracting Ops and Reimbursement, Finance, IT, etc. Other internal relationships include Public Affairs and CMR. External relationships include relations with external consultants, patient support service providers and organizations.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the design and implementation data strategies for patient support program use cases and patient case management analytics, with a focus on enhancing patient care, support, and overall program effectiveness

  • Drive the strategic implementation of next best action approaches within patient support programs, leveraging data insights to enhance patient outcomes and case management effectiveness

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement data-driven initiatives for improving patient support program effectiveness and patient case management

  • Ensure that patient support programs data strategy aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements, working closely with key stakeholders to drive impactful change across patient support and case management initiatives

  • Partner closely with legal and compliance to ensure that PSP requirements and visions are well understood and that PSP data strategies and implementations comply with industry standards and legal requirements

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of patient support program data, including data sources, data quality, data governance, and data privacy considerations

  • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks and processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of patient support program data

  • Collaborate closely with the Case Management Product Owner and IT to optimize case management systems through the effective utilization of data, fostering continuous improvement and innovation

    Physical Requirements

    0-10% overnight travel required.

    Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare analytics or Patient data strategy or relevant experience required

  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, patient care processes, and case management principles

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and findings to diverse audiences

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • Expertise in data analysis and reporting required

  • Experience in ML/AI preferred

  • Experience in Salesforce Healthcloud preferred

  • Intermediate proficiency in Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel required

  • Planning, Execution and Follow-up – effectively prioritizes and spends time, and the time of others on what is important

  • Strong organization, problem solving, and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of regulatory, legal, privacy and healthcare compliance requirements preferred
