Role Summary

The Trainee Program is a two-year program for graduates of secondary engineering schools that will allow you to gain new knowledge, develop your skills and prepare you for your next professional career. After successful completion of the program, you can have the opportunity to continue working at Flowserve.

As member of the Trainee Program, you will have the opportunity to participate in interesting local and international projects, contribute on finding solutions on technical questions while actively practicing your English at work.

Your Role

You will gradually get to know the operation of several departments (production, planning, technology and quality) and you will provide them with support in particular in the following areas:

  • Production management (order flow management, priority management, administration) and preparation (stock management of measurement equipment and gauges)

  • Planning and inventory management (customer orders, capacity planning, communication with customers, participation in inventories)

  • Engineering - processing of material bill of materials and routings/technological procedures, creation of 3D models of components, product portfolio and machined materials

  • Quality - working with various types of measurement equipment, introduction to metrology, acquaintance with the system processes for the above activities and their eventual provision

  • Continuous Improvement - principles of lean production and continuous improvement.

Your Profile

  • Completed secondary education in engineering.

  • Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Inventor or Solid Works.

  • Knowledge of Czech language at native speaker level.

  • Communicative knowledge of the English language, German knowledge is an advantage.

Extra-standard benefits

  • Transportation allowance in the amount of CZK 3/km (residence-workplace-residence)

  • Above-standard surcharges (night 35%, afternoon 20%, overtime 30%, weekend 20%)

  • Annual bonus of up to 2/3 of the gross monthly salary

  • Semi-annual bonus of up to CZK 5,000

  • Pension insurance contribution in the amount of 3% of the gross monthly salary (after a trial period)

  • Life insurance contribution in the amount of CZK 666 per month (after trial period)
