This temporary position (less than 67 days in the calendar year) offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in ethical AI. About the Lab: The VIP lab is a pioneering group at the forefront of ethical AI development. We combine computer vision and machine learning techniques to create trustworthy AI solutions with a positive impact on people's lives, particularly in healthcare. For more information regarding the VIP lab please see our website: https://www-users.cse.umn.edu/qzhao/index.html Job Duties and Required Knowledge: (50%) Actively participate in externally funded AI research projects, focusing on integrating ethical considerations. (20%) Incorporate ethical frameworks into research projects. (20%) Be involved in writing research papers or presentations focused on ethical AI. (10%) Contribute to the development of robust ethical guidelines for the lab's AI research activities. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Undergraduate student in computer science or engineering related programs. Strong understanding of ethical AI principles and technologies. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Python and Java programming languages. Experience in data analysis and visualization techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
