Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. The incumbent will be a part of our logistics & distribution industry team, primarily focusing on EDI-billing, cash posting, and receivables. The role involves handling accounts receivable duties, including processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintaining precise customer credit records.

• Resolving customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Monitoring customer credit accounts.

• Taking necessary action to collect delinquent payments.

• Managing electronic data interchange (EDI) billing and posting cash.

• Handling non-electronic billing by entering invoices.

• Proficiently using Oracle Commerce and Oscommerce for various tasks.

• Utilizing skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing software.

• Applying knowledge in logistics & distribution to achieve optimal results. Requirements • Proficiency in Oracle Commerce and Oscommerce

• Experience with Cash Posting operations

• Advanced knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with various Billing software

• Experience in Logistics and Distribution

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred

• Professional certification such as Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist is a plus.
