Job Summary

The Senior Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and directing the HR Department’s activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with legal regulations. This role will encompass oversight of compensation programs along with a breadth of HR functions, talent management, employee relations, and compliance.  Additionally, the Senior Human Resources Manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead special projects within the HR Department.

Responsibilities and Duties

 

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategy with organizational goals and mission.

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies, processes, and initiatives to support compliance and strategic objectives.

  • Administer HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary actions, performance management, and training.

  • Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends using HRIS or talent management systems.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and adapt policies accordingly.

  • Stay informed about HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to advise senior management.

  • Lead HR projects as assigned.

    Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) preferred.

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in HR management, with expertise in compensation and broad HR functions.

  • Proficiency in HRIS and talent management systems.

  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
