Description We are looking for a Controller in the Engineering industry to join our team in Irvine, California. This role is essential in overseeing full cycle accounting within our organization. The Controller will be responsible for managing important functions including cash reconciliation and generating reports using pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full cycle accounting to ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported

• Execute cash reconciliation processes to maintain accuracy and transparency in financial statements

• Utilize software such as Epicor 10 and Sage 100 in managing and analyzing financial data

• Implement accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Generate reports using pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas to assist in financial planning and forecasting

• Leverage knowledge in manufacturing cost accounting to accurately report on production costs

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

• Coordinate with other departments to prepare budget forecasts

• Monitor financial transactions and reports to identify any unusual activities and address them promptly

• Provide guidance to the accounting team to enhance their performance and ensure they meet their objectives. Requirements • Candidate must possess proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Familiarity with Epicor software is required

• Proficiency in Sage 100 is a must

• Experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting is necessary

• A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Must possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
