Job Position Summary:

To ensure compliance of the documented quality system to specified requirements (internal and external), promote, and facilitate continuous improvement, and provide general support to the facility for interpretation and application of internal and external quality standards and initiatives.

Scope/ Supervision and Interaction:

Position is self-directed, is assisting the quality supervisor in guiding other team members toward shared goals and interacts with all management and production employees to maintain and improve the overall quality effectiveness.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Support and adhere to Parker’s Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures and observe housekeeping guidelines. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed:

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain inspection reports.

  • Ensure compliance to company standards and specifications, customer requirements and industry standards, as well as federal and state laws.

  • Perform inspections across all stages of production and manufacturing.

  • Prepare and maintain test data for review.

  • Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards.

  • Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.

  • Provide support and guidance to facility personnel in the interpretation of, and compliance to the ISO 9001 International Standard

    Qualification Requirements:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience

  • Solid understanding of test equipment and product requirements, drawings

  • Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information.

  • Ability to influence and motivate other team members and encourage collaboration.

  • Familiarity with International Quality Standards ISO9001 and IATF16949 and customer quality requirements

  • Auditing experience
