Lockheed Martin Project Engineering Mgr in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: This is for a L-code that will manages a team that is responsible for the business efforts of several programs (F-35,ADP,F-16) under the Ground Systems (GS) Directive. This team is comprised of CAMs, New Business personnel, mangers of Earn Value Metrics and HW/SW Product Mangers. The focus includes both program execution (cost,schedule, and technical performance) as well as functional L-code responsibilities (employee recruitment, labor planning, and performance assessments).

This position requires someone that is highly organized, good communication, ability to collaborate cross-functionally GS leadership, proposal teams, personnel, and Program Management. Individual will be responsible for collaborating with program management and GS teams to develop and maintain the execution schedule. Provide appropriate labor charging direction and ensure charge numbers are generated and tasks are charged appropriately. Collaborate with Finance department and GS leadership to provide earned value metrics explanations and generate data metrics for financial analysis. Assist GS managers with tracking project status from contract award to contract completion. Collaborate with New Business coordinator for continuity between New Business and contract execution.

Basic Qualifications:

Earned BS in General Business or Finance

Experience with program/project management to include cost/schedule/technical execution of a program.

Experience with Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities managing multiple accounts across several contracts

Experience with new business tasks such as preparing BOEs

Desired Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Cross collaboration with leadership and program management

Knowledge with APTS, Cobra , SAP, Empower

Experience leading a team with complex technical

systems and programs

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
