To meet these growth challenges, WSP is currently looking for a Manager, Electrical - Renewables Team to join our Electrical team, located in one of our offices in Canada.

The position is available in our offices in Quebec City, Montreal and Edmonton.

What you can expect to do with us:

  • Supervise a team of engineers and technicians across Canada responsible for the development of renewable energy projects and high-voltage substations;

  • Actively participate in decisions regarding team development and vision;

  • Support the technical development of the team by providing training and mentoring;

  • Actively contribute to the technical implementation of projects;

  • Ensure project quality control by reviewing peer work and following established processes;

  • Assist the market development team by providing support for service proposals and opportunity evaluations;

  • Serve as a technical advisor in due diligence mandates.

We'd love to hear more about you if you have :

  • Recognized electrical engineer in at least one Canadian province with around 10 years of relevant experience;

  • Experience in detailed engineering of renewable energy projects: Solar, Wind, BESS;

  • Experience in detailed engineering of high-voltage and medium-voltage substations;

  • Personnel management experience;

  • Proficient in both spoken and written French and English;

  • Known for leadership skills and the ability to foster teamwork.
