JOB TITLE: Senior Quality Engineer LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.) DUTIES: Duties to include: Serve as a strategic technical / software programming resource in the design and implementation of test software (unit test/automation) for software applications, system architectures /framework or software test tools that achieve desired Optum, systems application and development functionality; Solve complex software engineering problems / issues requiring insight and innovation; Leverage knowledge and experience across the business to develop innovative solutions which gain global competitive advantages; Solve complex / strategic software engineering / technical problems in innovative and effective ways; Design, code, unit test, white box test, and debug software; write or participate in code documentation; Lead complex software test engineering / framework designs from products / customer requirements to functional specifications to coding to unit testing and debugging to software acceptance and release; Engage in the design of the software architecture / framework and programming features of new families of Optum applications, new Optum platforms, new Optum Systems applications or new tools; Follow development best practices; Socialize and drive new practices; Keep agile tracking tool(s) up to date; Drive team retrospectives; and Arbitrate technical disagreements. Position requires five (5) years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in the following: Functional Test Design and Execution, Regression, E2E, and UAT; Designing different Automation Frameworks for Web and Mobile Applications (Web/Native) to Android and IOS; Creating stubs and Driver Scripts; AWS Resources, Relational and Non-Relational Databases; API testing; AWS Application/Network Monitoring Tools; and Agile Methodology.
