Description

We are in the process of recruiting for an IT Auditor position based in Detroit, Michigan. The selected candidate will be a key contributor to our team, focusing on planning, executing, and coordinating IT audits, with an emphasis on assessing IT operational, security, and privacy risks. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, advising on internal control frameworks, and engaging in the development and implementation of automated controls.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and coordinate IT audits, focusing on assessing IT operational, security, and privacy risks.

• Develop tailored audit plans to address specific business or technology-based processes, identifying control points, and suggesting improvements.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support audit-related initiatives and provide insights for enhancing operational effectiveness.

• Offer guidance on technology-related matters and contribute to the development and implementation of automated controls.

• Stay updated on emerging IT security, privacy, and control issues, and share knowledge within the team.

• Provide technical support for Audit Services, particularly regarding IT systems and needs.

• Engage in personal and professional development, welcoming feedback, and supporting the growth of others.

• Conduct IT audits under the guidance of senior team members.

• Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley IT controls testing activities.

• Collaborate with clients to advise on internal control frameworks, information security, privacy, and process optimization.

• Support the design and implementation of automated controls and testing procedures.

Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience in IT auditing, preferably within a large-scale, complex business environment. of 5 or more years of experience.

• Strong understanding and proficiency in Audit Program management.

• In-depth knowledge of IT Audit processes, methodologies, and industry best practices.

• Certification as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is highly desirable.

• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide insightful recommendations.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong report writing skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• High level of integrity and professional ethics.

• Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision making.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and IT audit software tools.
