Description We are offering an opportunity for an Operations Specialist in Deer Park, Illinois. This role is centered in the commercial banking industry, where you will be handling a diverse range of customer service responsibilities in a call center environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch customer service by handling incoming calls and addressing a variety of inquiries, including those related to Checking/Savings account, Online Banking, New Accounts, and Bankcard requests.

• Carry out account maintenance duties regularly and suggest appropriate banking products to match customer needs.

• Proactively analyze the needs of callers to provide the most suitable solutions.

• Adhere to standard screen prompts, scripts, and procedures to effectively address the needs of callers.

• Go beyond standard methods when necessary to resolve complex customer issues.

• Use your skills in Customer Experience, Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking, and Call Center Customer Service to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and patience while dealing with customers over the phone.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient call center operation.

• Stay updated with the latest banking products and services to provide accurate information to customers.

• Handle customer complaints and escalate them to the appropriate department when necessary. Requirements • Minimum of one year experience in an operations role

• Proficient in customer experience management

• Knowledge of commercial and consumer banking operations

• Prior experience in a call center or customer service role

• Familiarity with call center operations and protocols

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach

• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred but not mandatory
