DIRECT SOURCE INTERNATIONAL LLC Versatile Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant - Supportive Work Environment in Concord, North Carolina

As a Family-Owned Business, we are looking for a responsible Office Administrative Assistant with solid bookkeeping experience who can handle different tasks and standard accounting for our businesses that fall into two different industries, manufacturing and property management. This is not a remote position.

Your duties would include tracking insurance, rents for tenants, handling invoices for payables and receivables, filing and paying business taxes, (quarterlies, payroll taxes, sales taxes, etc.), bank reconciliations, and more. Additionally, you would provide support to our managers and team members, assisting in daily office needs, managing our company's general administrative activities, preparing reports, and maintaining appropriate filing systems.

The ideal candidate should a have minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to organize their work using Google Workspace, MS Excel, QuickBooks, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize QuickBooks for payables and receivables.
  • Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, and forms.
  • Maintain tenant records.
  • Communicate with Customers, Vendors, Contractors, and Tenants.
  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Maintain a filing system.
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports.
  • Filing and paying business taxes.

Skills

  • Must be comfortable with computers, printers, and technology in general and adapt to new software with ease.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Must demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette and the ability to craft clear, professional emails, ensuring effective communication with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Experience with QuickBooks.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
