Summary:

The Wealth & Investment Strategy Manager manages "strategies" of stocks, bonds, funds or a combination of those in a Team Managed format for client accounts. Additionally, they serve as research analysts within the equity, fixed income or open architecture teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage client assets within the scope of the equity, fixed income, open architecture, retirement plan services or other strategy, as assigned by the Chief Investment Office.

• Completes effective and understandable research as assigned within the equity, fixed income, open architecture, retirement plan services or other teams within the Chief Investment Office by:

• Conducting due diligence

• Determining investibility

• Writing research report

• Communicating to internal sales and support teams across the Private Bank and HFA

• Provides detailed research analysis and communication to internal sales and support teams across the Private Bank

• Provides Strategy support via narrative and other marketing support

• Provides insights, client/prospect support and other materials for Portfolio Managers in the file

• Completes other duties as assigned within the Chief Investment Office to support customers, colleagues or the company (Huntington)

• Supports all sales & service goals within the Chief Investment Office

• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Economics, Investments or Finance

• 5-7 yrs investment experience; 2yrs in current role

• Prior experience running mutual funds or centrally managed portfolios

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA/CFA or other professional designation or w orking towards a professional designation associated with the financial management industry (CFP, CFA, CTFA, CMT, etc.)
