Integer Test Design Engineer-Medical Device in Chaska, Minnesota

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Creates processes to test products on specifications in departments such as manufacturing or quality assurance.

  • Determines the best way a test can be performed in order to achieve 100% testing coverage.

  • Supports test function for system hardware, software, and test data manipulation projects.

  • Provides accurate estimations and reports of all test processes.

  • Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.

  • Performs work which involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment.

  • Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data.

  • Recognizes discrepancies in results and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes.

  • Reviews test procedures and plans prior to implementation, conducts failure analysis and inspection on products, processes and materials.

  • Investigates, develops and implements new process technologies of moderate scope.

  • Plans, organizes, and manages related projects and staff as appropriate.

  • Functions as a fully competent engineer in all conventional aspects of subject matter or functional area of assignments.

  • Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or total project of moderate scope.

  • Independently performs assignments, receiving instruction only regarding general expected results.

  • Devises new approaches to problems encountered.

  • Investigates, develops and implements new process technologies of moderate scope.Education & Experience:Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum experience: 5+ years of experienceKnowledge & Skills:

  • Special Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead team activities and act as a coach.

  • Performs other duties as required
