Aerotek Light Assembler in Chaska, Minnesota

Electromechanical Assembler

Description:

The individual will be involved with the kitting and mechanical assembly for 1 of 4 different blood testing machines that are put into just about every hospital in the United States. They will be utilizing screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, and drills to perform the assemblies. They will be reading off of SOPs, and following work instructions for completion. Some of the parts can be small, must have good hand dexterity. Must follow operating procedures, maintain accurate records of what you are doing, and execute work orders for on time delivery output. Must be able to follow GMP practices with a focus on quality and safety over all. Work can become repetitive so you must be very detail oriented.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

6 months + experience in an assembly, electronic repair, or manufacturing role.

-Able to use hand and power tools

-Previous experience following documented procedures

-Have a good understanding and be knowledgeable on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and filling Device History Record (DHR).

-Must have the ability to read and write in English

-Able to lift up to 30 pounds

-Must have HS Diploma or GED
