RE: OPEN POSITION General Elevator/Feed Mill Operator
REPORTS TO: Tresa Krueger, Carlton
Summary: This position is responsible for handling and conditioning grain and/or feed. This position will perform routine maintenance and housekeeping in the elevator/feed mill, as well as other handling equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Produce and process all feed products, which includes manufacturing, sacking, loading and unloading.
Operate all elevator loading, unloading and drying equipment.
Maintain feed and ingredient inventory and ensures appropriate stocking.
Receive grain from producers, which includes weighing, probing/testing, grading the product, loading and unloading.
Assists customers with purchases and other needs in a respectful, professional manner.
Complete all required logs and/or paperwork.
Perform preventive maintenance and housekeeping duties inside and outside of all facilities and equipment.
Safely and efficiently operates powered equipment, i.e. skid loader, forklift, etc.
Attends safety and job skills training as requested by management and obeys all associated rules and processes.
Handle dry fertilizers for customer orders.
Performs ALL other duties as assigned by Location Manager.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma/GED
1-3 mos. related experience
*Equivalent Combination of education/experience will be considered.
