Example of Duties:

  • Provide front-line customer service and multi-tasking functions that may include: greeting visitors and callers, answering questions about licenses and related fees, along with accessing the relevant rules and regulations.

  • Perform a variety of office support functions such as generating labels, forms, and routine letters; verifying completeness of applications and forms; maintaining record systems.

  • Process permits, licenses and registrations for customers

  • Respond in writing to requests for pertinent program information.

  • Process mail and distribute, prepare Certified Mail and packages.

  • Upload documents into application portal

  • Assist customers via in person, phone, email, and mail

  • Mail out fingerprint cards

  • Input data from fingerprint cards received

  • Input results and send reports to licensure team

  • Follow confidential records management and distribution of documents

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience monitoring a records system to identify and correct errors.

  • Experience researching a variety of sources to resolve problems.

  • Experience interpreting, explaining and applying regulations, laws, or complex policies to carry out assignments.

  • Experience entering and retrieving data using a computerized records system.

MQ Specialty:

  • Experience using word processing software to create and modify documents.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in speaking Spanish and English
