Walmart Senior Manager, Portfolio Management in Bentonville, Arkansas

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Are you looking for a great opportunity to join Fortune #1 and play a key role in the development and delivery of an associate focused real estate strategy? Our Corporate Real Estate team is hiring a Senior Manager, Portfolio Management to support the various business units on the solutioning for their space needs. In this role, you will work cross functionally to elevate Walmart's Office Portfolio.

What you'll do...

  • Strategize with business units and People team representatives to ensure business unit objectives are aligned with real estate objectives

  • Understand, forecast, and anticipate physical facility requirements and related service needs, as articulated by business units representatives

  • Accountable for development of framing documentation and business cases to accurately and comprehensively articulate planned or emergent business group headcount and special use requirements

  • Facilitate and assist in obtaining appropriate business unit management approval of project options and/or costs

  • Manage execution of projects and approved occupancy plans across stakeholder groups aligning business group objectives with established portfolio optimization criteria, within approved timelines and expectations

  • Be accountable to the client business units for the creation, approval, and execution of all stack planning activities

  • Ensure and facilitate excellent communications with clients and stakeholders, maintain and share all relevant information and/or lessons learned

  • Employ a systematic approach on occupant satisfaction at both the business unit and service delivery levels

  • Ensure continuous process improvement programs are in place, cost savings opportunities are identified and implemented

  • Assure representation and alignment with the established space governance model and guidelines

  • Lead cross team projects to ensure regional and business alignment on key strategic Corporate Real Estate initiatives.

  • Maintain strong peer connections and alignment with Procurement, Legal, Finance.

What you'll bring...

  • Ability and desire to drive solutions, problem solve and to work and lead in a fast-paced/dynamic organization

  • Ability to see the long-range perspective, apply forecasted information in developing and prioritizing strategic plans

  • Capability and background to understand Enterprise objectives and utilize these objectives in driving value for the client

  • Understanding of workplace, financial and organizational capabilities to effectively interpret client input into successful delivery of Corporate Real Estate

  • Requires ability to utilize business intelligence, data, and enterprise value to positively influence client and partner stakeholders

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to clients

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond effectively to sensitive issues

  • Ability to plan at both a strategic and execution level

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents

  • Passion and energy for enabling the associate experience

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, project management, finance, or engineering

  • Minimum 3-5 years of post-college experience in areas directly relevant to responsibilities described above.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate or related field and 3 years' experience in real estate, retail development, tenant representation, or related area

OR 5 years' experience in real estate, retail development, tenant representation, or related area.

2 years' experience in property management.
