Robert Half has partnered up with a local company in search of a Sr. Internal Auditor to join their team located in Southern NH. The role entails performing a variety of audit and assurance activities related to governance and business risk management processes, financial accounting, IT, operational internal control processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Plan, execute, and communicate risk assessments and audit activities with professionalism and objectivity.

• Assist in our SOX compliance efforts, including internal control testing and assessments.

• Evaluate IT policies, control designs, and systems effectiveness to ensure compliance.

• Collaborate with management on new system implementations, process changes, and control enhancements.

• Support internal control assessments, investigations, and education initiatives.

• Document business processes, identify risks, and develop control matrices.

• Prepare audit reports and provide recommendations for improving operations and controls.

• Participate in management meetings and present audit findings to executive leadership and the Board.

• Utilize data analytics and computer-assisted programs to enhance audit processes.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, IS/IT, or related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of audit experience.

• Certification in US CPA, CIA, CISSP, CISA, or International CA.

• Industry experience in consumer products, distribution, manufacturing, or similar fields preferred.

• Strong understanding of risk assessments, control design, testing procedures, and SOX 404 implementation.

• Ability to cover financial accounting, IT, and operational audit and compliance areas.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
