Job Overview

This position is responsible for standard level work supporting information technology application(s) through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining and providing ongoing optimization and support. Duties include providing front line support to end users through analyzing and diagnosing problems and determining a solution.

Additional Information

Department: Clinical Application Services Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Work hours may vary depending on the needs of the department. This position does require on-call rotation, which includes weekends and holidays. *This is a hybrid position.

Qualifications

EDUCATION - High School or GED

Bachelors degree preferred EXPERIENCE - Minimum of three (3) years of related experience is required. Clinical laboratory experience preferred CERTIFICATION(S) - Epic certification in primary application will be required within four months of hire. Team members will be sent to Epic for mandatory training and will be given two attempts to pass certification testing to maintain employment. Current Medical Technologist (ASCP), or equivalent, certification preferred Current Beaker Clinical Pathology Certification and build experience preferred Current Beaker Anatomic Pathology Certification and build experience preferred

Translates business need into system design Collaborates with system users and other IT professionals to evaluate, plan, design, develop, test, implement and maintain systems. Addresses technical issues that occur during installation and maintenance activities. Completes or coordinates the preparation, coding, testing, and debugging of complex programs. Analyzes, designs and builds workflows to meet the needs of users.
