What Machine Operation contributes to Cardinal Health
Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.
Responsibilities:
support and lead a team with good communication skills with a common goal to be successful in production activities
be flexible to cross train and work in multiple areas when needed
uses a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments
use forklift to move material around the floor
run required batching processes
fits and assembles precision parts into mechanical equipment and determines material, parts, and equipment required. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience, preferred
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Anticipated hourly range: $19.67 (includes shift differential)
