Morgan Stanley Investment Research AI Project Lead in Alpharetta, Georgia

Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced AI technology leader to represent Morgan Stanley Research Americas. This role, within the Investment Research division will report into the Global Head of Research AI Technology. They will be responsible for supporting the analyst and client-facing technology platforms for producing research, multi-channel research distribution, advanced CRM systems, AI-driven products and technologies and data analytics. The candidate, with relevant experience, will work closely with Research Analysts, Research Management, data scientists and modelers and the global IT organization to ensure the appropriate regional Research technologies requirements and priorities are met. As a Product Owner, the candidate will identify, evangelize and deliver high ROI projects, to increase the productivity of the Research department globally. The candidate will rely on a solid background in corporate finance, equity valuations and investment research and some understanding of fixed income instruments and markets. The candidate will have data analytics skills and experience with data science, predictive models, AI and NLP-based technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis and project management, and will be responsible for providing end-to-end product ownership from requirements gathering and analysis through implementation

Responsibilities include: • Liaise with Research senior management to ensure strategic business objectives are met • Work with internal IT, data scientists, modelers and external vendors to ensure solutions are delivered successfully • Establish stakeholder relationships with Product Team and Analysts • Work with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure all internal compliance and risk review processes are followed and completed • As a Product Owner define the product vision, oversee the product development process, work with stakeholder and the development team and other teams in the organization to ensure successful development and launch of their Product • Initiate technology ideas and experimentation and remain current with technology trends • Be a champion for the research technology platform to drive adoption

Qualifications • 5 years of investment research technology experience

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $145,000 per year, at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
